“Don’t lose HOPE… Keep the FAITH intact... The COURAGE to follow the HEART
Just sharing a story. No big deal.
It's been a while since I got fired myself last year, April 30, 2012 at Global Content & Research Ltd. How can you afford getting fired yourself from a company you pioneered? “Remembering the busy hours planning and developing every single detail that we need to make for the company’s projects success. We have been through so many challenges, twists and turns, bumps and bruises and yes, we did manage to overcome all of it. I am amazingly proud we made it. These projects will be a continued legacy to the world!”
Well, as Global Content grew, the owner hired someone whom he thought was very talented to run the company with us, and for the first year or so things went well. But then our visions for the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out (financial shortage). I believed that the company has something to offer for the world to help make it a better place to live in for our children's children. In order for the company to cover up its monthly expenses (though the owner is capable of financing the shortage), I decided to get fired myself and to save my friends so that they would not lose their jobs. I really didn't know what to do for a few weeks. I felt so confused if I made my decisions right and I even thought about planning to go back to my home town and to get some rest, relax as well and to settle my mind in order for me to think what I really want to do in the next chapter of my life.
A month before I left Global Content, I met the team of a reputable IT Security Consulting company, named BitShield, and they were offering me a part time job as IT security consultant, as penetration tester. I did not get back to them or grab that chance then because I was confidently secured with my job at Global Content.
Indeed! I felt it was the beginning of my career’s downfall. I started thinking negatively, that I was going down the failure lane of my profession. But with true FAITH in GOD, I was not afraid to face uncertainty. And something slowly began to dawn on me - I still loved what I did. The turn of events at Global Content had not changed that one bit. I had been trying to apply work abroad and was rejected, but I was still in love. And so I decided to start over.
A week later I left Global Content, I tried doing something different, something not related to my profession at all. I got interested in Meditation. I purchased books and had extensive and intensive researched about soul liberation - meeting the Higher Self. I have gathered sufficient resources in this subject (Thanks to Dr. Michael P. Mau, David Wilcock and Stargazer). I created a portal called “The Future and Beyond: Search for Origins and Destiny - http://founder.security-science.com” to where I put all the knowledge and lessons I learned. I devoted and have spent many cycles of time in transcribing series of videos and selected the key points of which I feel very important areas to highlight.
I didn't see it then, but it turned out that getting me fired from Global Content was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being financially secured was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most imaginative periods of my life.
After a couple of weeks, I received an email from someone whom I do not know. It was a really surprising email, telling me that my ideas and visions are very interesting. That someone is a master of IT in Juniper Network Solutions. He said that he accidently read my profile somewhere in the Internet. I decided to join and learned later that the company is a startup company, named Tasaheel Information and Electronic Company (TIECo) owned by a Royal family and Ruler of the State in Middle East. I shared my ideas and visions. And to align these ideas, I suggested changing the company name to Tasaheel Global Consulting (TGC) instead. Within the shortest period of time, the new business model and concept transition went pretty well and miraculously turned out beyond our expectations. TGC is now one of the biggest IT Security Consulting and Data Center Solutions Company in Middle East, headquartered in Kuwait, expanded in Bahrain, in Turkey and expanding throughout Asia (Singapore and the Philippines).
I'm pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn't been fired from Global Content.
Thanks to Steve Jobs for his inspirational lines and I quote, “Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose Faith. I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and THE ONLY WAY TO BE TRULY SATISFIED IS TO DO WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS GREAT WORK. AND THE ONLY WAY TO DO GREAT WORK IS TO LOVE WHAT YOU DO. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle.”
Global Content is still kicking :)
